Dianne Foster
Manager, Asbestos Action
Dianne joined the team at Asbestos Action (Tayside) as a Senior Welfare Officer, in May 2014 and will officially take up her new role as Manager of the charity on 1st August 2022. She had thirty one years’ experience working in both Health and Social Care and Criminal Justice sectors in Scotland and England prior to joining Asbestos Action (Tayside). She has worked as a practitioner as well as coordinating and managing a variety of services.
She is committed to supporting anyone affected by an asbestos related condition and empowers clients to identify and achieve their potential. As well as supporting clients both practically and emotionally Dianne advises on entitlement to welfare benefits, assists with completion of benefit application forms and also assists with appeals including representation, where appropriate. Liaison is at the core of Dianne’s case management; she values working closely with sufferers and family members as well as all stakeholders involved.
